Introduction
Peacock Place is based in the heart of Northampton Town Centre between Abington Street and Market Square.
The two distinct levels of the shopping mall house a range of high street shops and boutiques as well as a café, toilets and other facilities.

The centre’s tinted glass roofing and large atrium provides a bright and airy shopping experience with easy access to the different levels by lift, escalator and stairs.

The centre takes its name from the Peacock Hotel that originally stood on the site, overlooking the Market Square. The hotel was replaced by an open air shopping centre in 1960 called Peacock Way which was then succeeded by the indoor mall we have today: Peacock Place.
